Profile
I am an environmental researcher focused on the holistic assessment of ecosystem health across terrestrial, aquatic, and interfacial landscapes. My work applies multidisciplinary techniques, spanning geochemistry, remote sensing, and socioecological analysis, to monitor pollution (e.g., heavy metals, nutrients) and environmental degradation. I investigate the critical interplay between human activities (from land-use change and socioeconomic pressures to industrial and agricultural practices) and their impacts on sediment and water quality. My research ultimately seeks to understand how these human-environment interactions drive ecological changes, influence nutrient cycles, and exacerbate the effects of climate change, providing science-based insights for sustainable resource management and policy.
