My expertise lies in hard rocks geology, encompassing a deep understanding of rock formations, mineralogy, and structural geology, translating theoretical knowledge into practical applications. I have a proven track record of impactful research in this field, demonstrated by publications in top scientific journals and presentations at international conferences. My research interests span various areas, including petrology, tectonics, and geological mapping. In terms of educational leadership, I am dedicated to providing engaging and comprehensive learning experiences for students. From introductory geology courses to advanced seminars, I foster critical thinking and analytical skills among my students. Research Interests

My research is focused on the study of igneous and metamorphic rocks. I am particularly interested in the petrogenesis, mineralogy, and geochemical characteristics of these rocks, aiming to elucidate their formation processes magma types, tectonic settings, and evolution history.

A key component of my research involves the integration of remote sensing technologies to enhance the identification and classification of various rock types. By employing satellite imagery, aerial photography, and spectral analysis, I develop innovative methodologies for mapping and analyzing the distribution and characteristics of hard rock formations. This interdisciplinary approach not only improves geological mapping but also aids in resource exploration and environmental monitoring.

My research contributes to advancing our understanding of the Earth's crust and the geodynamic processes that shape it. By bridging traditional geological fieldwork with modern remote sensing techniques, I strive to provide more precise and comprehensive data for geological studies, thereby enriching the field with novel insights and methodologies.

   I am teaching a variety of courses to undergraduate and post graduate students in the Geology Department. These courses include:
   1. - Crystallography for First-Year Students.
   2. Rock forming minerals for second year students.
   3. Mineralogy for second year students.
   4. Metamorphic Petrology for third year students.
   5. Basement rocks for fourth year students.

      This course covers the types, characteristics, and formation of igneous and metamorphic rocks.

      Petrography: In this course, students study and analyze minerals and rocks under microscope.

   6. Plate tectonic for third year students

   Igneous and Metamorphic Petrology: This course covers the types, characteristics, and formation of igneous and metamorphic rocks.

   Petrography: In this course, students study and identify minerals and rocks under microscope.

   Geology of Egypt: This course focuses on the geological formation of the basement rocks of Egypt, with an emphasis on the basement rocks, their magma type, tectonic setting and their minerals association according to the new theories of plate tectonic.

   I supervise numerous master's and doctoral theses, providing support and guidance to students in their research projects. His research contributions include solving complex geological problems especially in their works and developing new methodologies for studying basement rocks and minerals association.
