Research Interests

My research interests lie in the fascinating field of geochemistry, with a specific focus on the geochemistry of elements and sedimentary rocks. Geochemistry is the study of the distribution, behavior, and cycling of chemical elements in the Earth's systems, and it plays a crucial role in understanding the Earth's past and present processes. By investigating the geochemistry of elements, I aim to unravel the complex interactions between various elements and their isotopes, and how they are influenced by geological, biological, and environmental factors. Sedimentary rocks, on the other hand, provide valuable archives of Earth's history, recording information about ancient environments, climate, and the evolution of life. By studying the geochemistry of sedimentary rocks, I aim to decipher the chemical compositions, mineralogy, and isotopic signatures within these rocks to reconstruct past environmental conditions and gain insights into Earth's dynamic history. Overall, my research interests in geochemistry and the geochemistry of sedimentary rocks are driven by a curiosity to understand the Earth's processes and provide valuable insights into the past and present state of our planet.
