Profile
Based on facies analysis/sequence stratigraphy-constrained 3D-static reservoir geomodelling, I can investigate an area’s hydrocarbon potential, and possibilities for CO2 storage (in sealed-reservoirs) as well, applying various integrated-disciplines; e.g. sequence stratigraphy with geomodel/horizon-cube [relative geological time (RGT) model; stratal slicing] and wheeler scenes (discriminating depositional sequences, and systems-tracts/depositional-systems), seismic stratigraphy/facies (recognizing seismic packages/sequences' shapes, and textures), seismic geomorphology (amplitude/seismic [attributes+ UVQ neural network waveform segmentation + AVO]), GR-log motifs (stacking patterns/trends well-log facies analysis & correlation application), rock physics (impedance/inversion [attributes]) / petrophysics, FMI-core-thin section sedimentology (identifying mineralogical composition, texture, sedimentary structures, and sediment stacking patterns [sequences/facies]), and 1D - 2D basin modeling (retrieving the geo-history, thermal maturation, and migration-accumulation; defining charge timing); incl. back-stepping, sequential restoration, paleo-structural cross sections, identifying tectonic events effect on stratigraphic/structural sealing, and fault seal analysis (juxtaposition, shale gauge ratio, & permeability analyses). Eventually, I can analyze, interpret, and model paleoenvironments/depositional systems (from alluvial fans to deep waters) and facies associations so as to develop/reconstruct depositional/geological models that can help constrain 3D-static geocellular reservoir models; depicting reservoir’s heterogeneity & quality (sedimentary architectural elements). Consequently, my area of research thoroughly goes from basin analysis to basin modelling themes; honouring reservoir geology, reservoir geophysics, & petroleum system analysis approaches; so as to unravel paleoenvironments, depositional systems, and associated petroleum, & gas-storage, plays/potential. I use several software program tools like Petrel, Opendtect, Paleoscan, HampsonRussell, Techlog/IP, and PetroMod/BasinMod.
